From US-2 from Escanaba (50 min) or Manistique (20
min): Turn south on M-183 at Garden
Corners. YouÕll see FoxyÕs Den gas station at the intersection. The lodge is approximately
four miles south of US-2, and approximately 1.5 miles south of Big Bay de Noc
School, which youÕll see to the left. When you get to the lodge driveway,
youÕll see a white mailbox on the left of the road with the 8191 address
numbers and a slim vertical sign on it that says ÔValentineÕs Bay.Õ Turn right
down the driveway and go .6 miles to the house. ItÕs a big log home on the
lake. Park on the pavement in front of the garage and come around to the east
side door/porch.
If you get to Valentines Creek on M-183, you went too
far. Turn around and go back three mailboxes.
